Savani Heritage Research Institute is a subsidiary of a leading Executing agency of architectural heriatge the Savani Heritage Conservation Pvt. Ltd. the institution focuses on educating and creating awareness on conserving and restoring the heritage jewels of our Bharat nation. The limitations of the institutions that only cater to people in the architectural field. We at SHRI aim to extend and open the doors of heritage conservation to common masses and contribute as a catalyst in change making. Our practical knowledge of having worked for three decades in restoring various heritage sites and monuments, We strongly feel the need to share our expertise. Our goals through our vision and mission are as follows.

To become a leading institution that inspires and empowers individuals to understand, preserve and celebrate cultural heritage, fostering a nation’s tangible and intangible elements where heritage is valued and protected for future generations. The vision four folds to grow into a globally recognized institution that will play a vital role in documenting and creating awareness on importance of heritage restoration. Through innovation, research, and collaboration, we aim to bridge past and present, creating pathways that connect individuals and communities with their heritage and empowering them to contribute to a sustainable future for cultural legacy;

Mission



Our mission is to educate and engage students, professionals and communities in the significance and preservation of cultural heritage. We aim to develop a deep respect for history and traditions through comprehensive teaching, hands-on experiences and research initiatives. We aim to collaborate with heritage organizations, visiting experts, intellectuals and cultural leaders, we seek to become messengers of its traditional knowledge who will champion heritage preservation and ensure its relevance in the modern world. We also aim to collaborate with the local artisans and craftsmen to record and document their traditional knowledge. These intangible values are as valuable as a tangible monument. These intangible values are an inseparable part of the human emotions and related stories. These empowered learners with their knowledge and skills will further become the torchbearers of heritage tradition. Furthermore, we seek to consult various agencies in framing byelaws, validation, grading and listing that will act as a chronicle for researchers, history enthusiasts and communities. Thus, the ultimate goal aims to nurture responsible heritage messengers who will spread the word! The highlight of the mission is as follows;


















1. Education and Training: Offering a curriculum that combines historical, theoretical, and practical approaches to heritage studies, engaging experts who are knowledgeable in preservation techniques, cultural management and the ethical responsibilities of heritage work.



2. Research and Innovation: Encouraging original research and the development of new methods in heritage preservation, conservation and interpretation, making advancements accessible to communities worldwide and enhancing the understanding of heritages role in identity, sustainability, and social cohesion. As Research and documentation is the most important part of the heritage project, the involvement as well as sharing is equally important.








3.Community Engagement: Collaborating with local, national and international cultural organizations to foster public awareness and appreciation for heritage, ensuring that our work reaches diverse audiences and supports community-led heritage initiatives.

Global Perspectives and Inclusion: Promoting an inclusive view of heritage that recognizes the contributions of all cultures, supports the rights of indigenous and marginalized communities, sustainably and respects diverse narratives, thereby encouraging a global conversation about shared values and common heritage. Through these efforts, we seek to nurture a generation of heritage leaders, advocates and practitioners who are committed to honoring and preserving our shared cultural legacy in an increasingly interconnected world.
